Boundary examines the relationship between power and the individual through the history and changing space of Deoksugung Palace. Over time, the palace grounds, architecture, and spatial organization have continually shifted in response to social changes and external influences.

In Joseon palace architecture, red was reserved for the king and represented royal authority. In the work, a single red door and the water flowing through it evoke the presence of a unique individual. Through the continuous flow of water across different times and conditions, the work considers the relationship between the individual and the surrounding world.
